Progress Update

Hello there!  I wanted to do a quick post to show my progress so far.

As I mentioned previously, I have a bikini competition coming up in just over 4 weeks!  But what happens leading up to every show is that I am never REALLY sure that I am going to be ready on time.  I am 45 years old and do NOT stay “stage ready” lean all year round!  So it can be quite an effort for me to lean out after building muscle over the winter.  But I love the challenge and I really like trying to improve on my previous physique that I brought to the stage!  That being said, if I am not ready for the show at the end of March, then there is one in May that I really want to do. A lot of my friends will be doing the May show and it will be so much fun!!


 Also, last week I was sick the entire week so I was unable to make any progress at all. I am still on antibiotics and taking it easy in the gym.  If I am ready for the show that will be awesome, but I am not willing to sacrifice my health to get there by a certain date! 

Today my weight is 135 lbs and I am 5’5″ tall. My coach wants me under 125 lbs for this show so we will see what I can accomplish over the next month.
